From Ground Effects to GFX Solutions

From modest beginnings in Windsor, Canada, GFX Solutions has evolved from Ground Effects Ltd. and grown from a family-owned aftermarket manufacturer of tubular products in 1986 to a leading specialty coating and up-fitter of OEM-level automotive accessories with nearly 30 locations worldwide.

In recent years, GFX has developed the capability to up-fit or accessorize fully-finished vehicles at modification centers strategically located nearby assembly plants across North America and Asia. This includes the development of a vertically integrated solution for factory spray-on bedliners that covers the entire supply chain from raw chemicals to end-consumer aftermarket applications. GFX Solutions has established a model that is unmatched anywhere in the industry, offering OEMs an efficient solution to accessorize vehicles in a controlled environment and achieve high performance in quality and productivity.

Community contributions

GFX Solutions supports charitable organizations in the communities where we operate. Since 2003, our annual Windsor-Essex Charity Golf Tournament has helped raise more than $1.9 million for Make-A-Wish® of Southwestern Ontario, and we also support Enable Haiti, which has delivered more than one million pounds of essential supplies since its founding in response to the 2010 Haiti earthquake.
